Dr Manoj George
Consultant Psychiatrist & Psychogeriatrician
Dr George is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychogeriatrician with a particular interest in older persons mental health, and caring for people with neurocognitive disorders. His expertise is in the provision specialised and holistic assessment, treatment and continuing care for older adults (or those with similar needs) who suffer from a range of mental health problems including dementia and other disorders including depression and schizophrenia.
Dr George is a Fellow of the College of Psychiatrist in Australia and the UK. He has specialist qualifications in Old Age Psychiatry from the General Medical Council UK as well as a Master in Neuroscience in Neurodegeneration from Kings College London. Dr George is also an accredited member of the Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age in Australia.
Dr George is Staff Specialist Psychogeriatrician and is the Clinical Lead for the Older Persons mental health in West Moreton Heath. He is also a Senior Lecturer for the School of Medicine, UQ.

He has given numerous talks and presentations on both a national and an international basis. Dr George has published on an array of field-related topics and researched in the field of neurocognitive disorders, apathy, cholinergic medications in dementia, Lewy Body Dementia etc.
